Bob Walter, along with his wife Mercedes and their two daughters Miranda and Amanda, have been Captiva vacationers for 15 years and full time residents over the past three years. Bob is currently the Regional Managing Director of South Seas Island Resort in Captiva and also a board member of the Captiva Community Panel. Bob is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami with a B.S. in Hospitality Management. His hospitality career spans over 40 years with the last 29 of those years having been with beach resorts in the following locations: South Hampton, Bermuda; Key West, Florida; Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; Clearwater Beach, Florida; and Captiva Island, Florida. Bob's passion for the beach has not only steered him toward finding true enjoyment on Captiva as a long time resident, but rather has ultimately helped him knock off one of his bucket list items.
